Running the Horse Capital Half Marathon

Back in November of 2022 at women's night, Liz and I sat down and joked about running a half marathon. Who knew that joke would turn into a reality??

Liz and I signed up and began training the week after women's night. Shortly after, Brooke signed up and joined. As the new year began, we convinced Ally, Makayla, Amanda, and Hannah J to join in this amazing journey with us.

We created a team of strong women that trained, encouraged, and held each other accountable. This journey was not all about running. These training runs have served as excellent opportunities to get to know one another and build each other up. It has been humbling to be a part of this group.

God used this to grow each of us during this journey. We "spurred one another on toward love and good deeds." -Hebrews 10:24

On April 15th, these Women completed the physically daunting accomplishment of

13.1 MILES.
